For what it's worth, I thought DBP20 was better than Syringe, and I UV-Maxed them both. I didn't play any of the other mentions though, except 1-2 levels of Antaresian Reliquary, which I thought looked very good

I got Shadow Warrior + expansions from the OP and I seriously waited months to be able to play it on BuildGDX, and I get this fucking bug where Wang pulls out chopsticks out of nowhere and I can't use any guns. I might just play it on Classic Redux if I'm the only one who gets this bug and the GDX dev doesn't patch it

Pick one. Use zero saves whatsoever and pistol start each map on skill 1 or 2. This will give you a chance to learn the map and fall for each ambush but without having to instantly restart after each trap so you still get the thrill of limping along on low health but it's not frustratingly difficult. If you like the map enough, do another saveless pistol start run on skill 3; and if you feel inclined to do so, do it again on skill 4. If not, go back to skill 1 or 2 on the next map and repeat the process over again. This will let you blast through maps quickly while looking for some maps or map sets that you really like a lot and would have fun grinding. Then you can start grinding it on HMP or UV doing a continuous play-through, but only saving once at the start of each map.

It's a Dungeons & Dragons/medieval themed level set. All the weapons function the same, but the plasma rifle is now cast from your hand like a spell, and the BFG is cast from a scepter, pic related. The monsters are mostly the same with just sprite changes; only a small amount of monsters behave differently.

How to use:
1) Have Doom 2.
2) Download Crispy Doom source port
3) Put Doom 2 and this custom WAD in the Crispy Doom folder
4) Click and drag the custom WAD file onto Crispy Doom
5) Get on the floor
6) Everybody walk the dinosaur

It's a very difficult map set so start on difficulty 1 or 2. It's short and sweet, too, only 9 or so short maps
