Legend of Dragoon was a piece o shit.
>no memorable music
>characters were generic archetypes and only 4 were useful
>aged horribly/ looked bad at the time
>gimmicky battle system
>uninspired monster designs
>generic areas
>very dull brown throughout the game
>low fantasy world

Sony's real gem was the Arc the Lad series.
