I use a Vizio VO420E with an Onn Steaming Stick. RetroArch for most consoles, Mupen64PlusAE for N64, and standalone PPSSPP for PSP. For Saturn games I use either my Lenovo Chromebook Duet or a Fire TV 4K Max with Yaba Sanshiro 2 but I do not recommend the latter for Saturn since it's kind of finicky and not as good as say an nVidia Shield or something.

How is it for Saturn games? Also how well does it handle external storage drives, I have a drive that works on my cheap Walmart stick but not my Fire TV 4K Max. Pic related is my currecnt favorite for all of the 16- and 32-bit stuff besides Saturn

I can't do that OP, my TV sticks and emulator handhelds still count as hardware

Personally prefer streaming sticks for emulation, they're lightweight and the interface is perfect for playing on a TV. The only "laptop" I use for emulation is my Chromebook for Saturn stuff from time to time, but I'm hoping to move all of the games over to external storage so I can just play those with my Fire TV 4K Max (do not really recommend for Saturn but it's playable at least)

Laptops aren't necessarily a bad idea either, especially if you can upgrade them to Android for a smoother experience. I wouldn't necessarily call them the best solution though

Nah. I'd collect them but I missed out on the Genesis Mini and PS Classic when they were dirt cheap. Nowadays I just use pic related I got from Walmart for like $15 and a Genesis bluetooth controller. Runs everything up to Dreamcast and PSP

$15 at Walmart does exactly what I need it to do with no fuss
