MGS2 also has a ton of people having different opinions about it because of that fact.

A part of me wishes Kojima would make an MGS game like MG and MG2. Minimal cutscenes with some more gameplay.

I used to like the older top down style more in MG, MG2, MGS, MGS2 and MGS3. MGS3 did change it in subsistence though to include both and I got to agree with it for that game. I feel a part of Metal Gears uniqueness is now gone in the newer ones because of the change.
