Try Advanced Dungeons and Dragons, its an influential early action RPG for the system and pretty fun today.

This fucker (called a Demon) from Advanced Dungeons & Dragons on the Intellivision.

Unlike other enemies (like the snake or dragon), he didn't make a noise when you got near him. He just comes right after you once reveal the part of the cave he's in.

That reminds me. As a child, AD&D Cloudy Mountain's sound effects scared the shit out of me. The foreboding noises, and the injury noises were like... sheer terror.

Played Treasure of Tarmin too, but only years after, at the grand old age of about 7 or 8. I found it very relaxing, completely the opposite of Cloudy Mountain.

I'll never forget these blue hellions.
