Nick Bennett is a patron saint of custom maps. Even his worst crap is better than 99% of maps and Cascadia is one of his finest.

When SquareEnix bought Eidos, they've almost instantly launched a reboot campaign over all the titles they've got. Not for profit, not for making games, but to take full hold over copyrights. The company is infamous for making absolutely retarded financial decisions, but in the same time defending their trademarks with a conviction worth far better cause. This means they will just sit on their rights for the sake of having them and sitting on them. And nope, they aren't going to sell them to anyone, regardless of price offered, because the whole point is to have rights. Using them? Pfft, that's what amateurs do! A true publisher simply has a library of titles.
