They are Famiclones anon, similar to the ones in the OP. People hate them but they cost pennies on the dollar, usually with Mario, Tetris, Contra, Turtles, Adventure Island and a few other good NES games on them. But you can't add games or play other consoles on them

It's whatever I have access to and whatever I'm in the mood for. I have close to a dozen different handhelds, some of them are Famiclones, some can play PS1 games, I have full rom sets for most cartridge consoles including SEGA CD and 32X as well as smaller sets of other CD consoles.

You're mostly right about modern gaming, a lot of it either just doesn't interest me or ends up being a pale imitation of the games I actually grew up with. Right now I don't have the time to devote to any big games so I've been sticking with mostly just cheap Famiclones I've been buying just for fun. When I have more time, maybe I'll go back to playing bigger games again, but right now just sticking with mostly simple 8-bit games like Tetris and Mario.

If we're going for weeks, I would probably bring a few of my Famiclone/emulator handhelds, and my streaming stick so I can play anything when I finally get there. Been on a Famiclone kick lately so I guess I would just play mostly Mario 3 and Tetris, then when we arrive pull out the streaming stick for some SEGA CD fun. I actually do have another stick that can handle Saturn games but I haven't added external storage on it yet so I only have like three games on it

I think I'm officially obsessed with Famiclones now. Got three different colors at this point and four other budget vertical handhelds (RS69, RS90, RG99, and AN08). The Famiclones are so cheap now that I might just start buying them every week or something, literally like twelve bucks

I think the second game is a little easier/more fun. It still feels like bootleg Mario though

Heck with how popular these NOAC's are becoming, Konami should release their own official one with the Adventure Island games on it
