Yeah I can see the attachment to it for nostalgia, and certain games feel like they were built for it.
Once upon a time I also had a similar attachment to PS1 controller, but at this point I don't really care.

Yeah, I heard similar complaints with some other Hori products.
It's design is great though.
In a way it incorporates both Saturn controller and N64 controller into a single controller.
