This released a few weeks ago: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cpTLXvHT8rE&feature=youtu.be&t=641

But I've barely heard any talk about it. What does the release of this HQ video of the trailer mean for the case of Earthbound 64? Could it spark further interest in finding a rom for it (If it even exists).

Hey, cool of you guys to bring up this footage we found. It's mostly OKeijiDragon's work though. Anyway, the first part is Duster going through what's probably an early Club Titiboo. Later you can obviously see DCMC perfoming. Outside of that, we don't really know the details of the other areas. What we DO know, is that a LOT of screenshots came from this exact "trailer". We also have a lot more screenshots. Ergo... You get it.
We're still trying to find this stuff and bring it to light. Thanks for sharing the video dude. We also have a few people making mock-up demos, pictures, and even models and they're really spot-on. Here's a (fake) picture one of our guys whipped up.

>Will the Earthbound 64 beta ROM ever get leaked or is it just a pipe dream at this point?
Probably a pipe dream. Releasing ROMs to the community isn't really what most of the people who collect protos do. If a ROM or cart exists, it's most likely in the hands of some greedy jap who glued the thing to his hands. Japs don't like dealing with foreigners. There was a fella by the name of Nintendomad on the ASSEMbler forums a while (RIP) who had a contact who was selling Ura Zelda, but the deal fell through as the person who was selling didn't want to sell outside Japan and wasn't comfortable getting Nintendo's eyes all over the deal. People who break NDA's with game companies are blacklisted from employment at other game companies. It's a big deal.
I'll play devil's advocate here, there's a better chance of something popping up simply because it was showcased at Spaceworld and you can clearly see in pics that there were multiple carts

>This is weeks old, retard
Doesn't matter, because this is probably the most amount of footage you're gonna get for a while

I really would have loved to play this, since it's pretty much exactly what Mother 3 on the GBA is except with a LOT of additional content.
