/vr/ - Retro Games

Hello fellow saturn enthusiasts,
I think after ~4 years, I'm starting to scrape the bottom of the Saturn barrel. It gets bad when you actually buy a copy of Sky Target. Man, what an ugly fucking game. Would not recommend it.

I'm not big into RPGs that I can't read, so that aspect of the library doesn't appeal to me (I mentioned in the other Saturn thread a really interesting game called Chaos Seed - sort of a more combat-focused Rune Factory made by the same RF team). I own all the shooters I'm willing to buy for the system (so no Battle Garegga and Batsugun), and I'm not in to fighting games.

When it comes to Saturn games, I don't need early ugly 3D bullshit, unless the game is so fucking good that I can look past it - it's hard to even tolerate Die Hard Arcade (the game is ok).

So, what are your picks? This is good for people considering getting into the system, since it's so expensive now. It's best to recommend games with low language barriers that have actual quality to them.
