Thanks for the advice, man. I started trying to casually score in CCWI, and just got my first score that's better than a regular clear.

It's not a big score, but it's the best clear I've ever gotten in an STG so I'm pretty happy.

Touhou games are too hard for me even for survival play and scoring is equally if not more arcane than CAVE depending on the game.

The puzzle STGs are pretty neat, especially the latest one, Impossible Spell Card, which is a lot better than the photography games.
