While I concede that the majority of Gundumb is a cash-grab snoozefest, I like 08th MS Team. It's the most "real-robots" entry in all of Gundam. Think Vietnam War but with mechs. If that sounds good you'll have a good time.

For whatever reason I see people tend to dislike this game, but honestly it's definitely one of the best games the system has to offer. It has multiple characters, multiple endings, so many moves to utilize, superb ost and crazy boss fights. I wish they would remake it honestly.

As soon as I see an 'underrated/unknown ps1 thread' this game always fucking pops into my head. It's weird too, since you'd think, being developed by Square that this game would have received so much love and critical acclaim. Yet, it casually sits in a dark room waiting for someone to remember.

Also, and I don't have proof unfortunately, but I remember before 2010, Dewprism (Threads of Fate in JP) was almost on every top list for wanted sequels.

It's shameful. The game really could have been a wonderful series. Not complaining though, since it's definitely my favourite PS1 game.
