Yeah obviously PS1 has more, although even "hidden gem" PS1 threads often have a lot of Square fanboys posting shit like Vagrant Story as a hidden gen, but whatever. I know the PS1 has shitloads of games.
I'm not saying the N64 has hundreds of unknown games, but it has its fair share.
>i would like you to name a few, because i am kind of interested now.
I should put up a proper list someday but pic related is pretty fun, there's one of these for PS1 (released as "Irritating stick" in the west) but controlling with the N64 stick makes a huge difference in this game.
All the AKI wrestling games always get mentioned so I guess you already know about these.
One series I actually consider overlooked is the Doraemon games by Epoch. There's 3 of them and they're fairly comfy 3D platformer/adventure games. Not as good as Mario 64 or Goemon but still good.

The N64 version is great due to the analogue stick's sensitivity. It's still hard as fuck though.

It did have games, but most people are too lazy to actually look for them and just stay with the same 1st party and Rare games because those are the most common. Also, a lot of games never left Japan.
