This cheeky MOTHERfucker wakes up if you're LV.25 in Magicant, and has the privilege of guarding the sixth melody. I didn't know that at the time and somehow grinded long enough to be able to beat him in the very first visit. Most people save his melody for last and treat him as the real final boss.

Killing Dragon, cleanly:
1. Reach Level 25 as Ninten.
2. Get Rope from any varying location or pay for it in Merrysville.
3. Get a Super Bomb from the Mysterious Teacher in Merrysville or from a Star Miner on Mt. Itoi Peak for Lloyd.
4. Engage Dragon.
5. Bind Dragon with Rope.
6. Throw Super Bomb.
7. 6th Melody.
8. ???
9. Profit.
