And in smaller scenarios the effort of making such a unit composition wouldn't be effective. Both Undead campaigns are a different story entirely - at a high level I would soften (or even kill) everything with my Lich Queen and Deaths would quickly clean up anything that was left standing.

And if Spectre misses do you reload your save and try again? Deaths can barely sustain one attack from a dragon but they will absolutely destroy it in the next turn. (you'll spend quite some time/money healing yourself, though).
