Hidden gems from Dreamcast. I love the name Dreamcast Dreamcast is so cool but I'm an emufag.

Just bought this and the full collection for myself for christmas, what am I in for? Any tips to get started?

Are GDEMU clones worth it or should I just sell and emulate? I don't like being unable to burn a large portion of the library onto CD-Rs since GD-Rs were 1.2 GB in size and only a few smaller games can fit on a cd without downsampling. The TerraOnion Mode is $300 CDN, which is robbery.

I see all these mods on YouTube, PSU mod, GD-ROM mod, fan mod... and it's just a money pit. Why not just emulate?

Seeing as how the genesis mini dropped recently, what would you want in a dreamcast mini? For me it's

>phantasy star online (a wet dream would be if they had the BB equivalent)
>skies of arcadia
>shenmue
>powerstone
>soul calibur
>jet set radio
>seaman
>space channel 5
>grandia
>chu chu rocket
And free online, with support for private servers for stuff like pso

I mean, the PS2 was only lucky to suceed, just pecause it was a cheap DVD player. So, all in all, the DC deserved MUCH better.

Would the Dreamcast have survived longer if Sega placed more focus on games like Shenmue and Skies of Arcadia instead of arcade ports?

Can you name some games for this system which:

1) were not arcade ports
2) were not given superior/improved ports or re-releases on other consoles
3) are worth playing
