One of the best damned shumps ever, although I'd say Gradius V for the PS2 is a bit better. It's kinda funny, because the only Japanese in the game is on just one screen.

Anybody know how I could run this on my North American PS1? I've heard about getting a spring or some shit like that, but I dunno.

Pic is my absolute favorite shmup. Really all gradius games are godly shumps, as are Rtype and Thunder Force games. God now I want to play and I'm supposed to be working on my Hunter the Reckoning campaign.
