I actually love getting games with rental store stickers on them as long as they aren't on the label. We had a game shop/rental place for years in the town where I grew up, and I still have a few games with their stickers.

I have several games that still have this sticker on them. Game Corner was a store and rental shop that also had arcade games in the back. I spent many, many hours there as a kid. To this day the combination smell of stale cigarette smoke and a bunch of sweaty geeks makes me think of primal rage and mortal kombat 2. I miss it, they shut down around maybe 1996.
