I left a few retro gaming Discord servers and came back to /vr/ after a few years because of the usual hivemind mentality that goes on in those places, it's very annoying to deal with. That and I feel like a lot of them are way too influenced by collector culture, I really don't care about how many random games you bought over the last week or what the latest retro trend is, I care more about playing the actual games any way I can. I also really can't stand servers led by rude/overly sensitive mods and admins who are offended by everything. Just don't have the time or the patience for it anymore
