Okay so, I just found something amazing, something which I thought had never been done.

A mod of RE1 for PSX with some different item placement, apparently some different layout as well (you're sent to other rooms etc). I've just started playing it, so far it's I've only noted a couple changes. Also it's much harder that alone makes it worth playing. RE1 always felt too easy to me.
