Hate to break it to you but I'm not some blue-haired demigender who thinks they're a horse or whatever. I'm a straight white man, I'm just not a teenager. I don't think being white makes me better than anyone and I don't think being more strongly atavistic makes me a winner because I don't need those two crutches to survive. If giving yourself an easy goal like "I just have to have and raise a kid...then I'm a WINNER" or "I'm white so I'm good" helps you live, go for it, just don't try to give other people advice from inside your little mental fishbowl.

There's nothing wrong with instinct, but if you ONLY have instinct then you're just a cockroach. Humanity didn't climb to the top of the food chain by JUST reproducing and following instinct. If what you described is all you want, that's great and you've absolutely "won." But don't assume everyone wants the same thing as you and just gave up because they can't get it. (Most) people need to do the things they're driven to do, that's what life as human should be. You can't be happy if you just let other people tell you what you're supposed to do.
