the closest example I can think of of real'aged' graphics is people using HDTVs that make old games look super sharp and pixelly and people using monitors that make old PC games look pink and baby blue

PC's golden age was delayed compared to consoles', it was mostly shit during the '80s, got better in the early '90s, then got really good in the late '90s and early '00s before everything started declining.
