Put aside the nostalgia and this is easily Nintendo's worst console and one of the worst consoles of all time.

So much western shovelware and boring kid-friendly crap in its library, very little actually worthwhile games.

>no good fighting games
>almost no survival/horror games
>almost no 2D platformers
>plenty of saturday morning cartoon time sink collectathons
>almost no puzzle games
>no light gun games
>more wrestling games than you can shake a trailer park at
>almost no RPGs, either Japanese or Western
>a handful of mediocre FPS games
>almost no arcade-style score attack games
>bunch of forgettable racing games
>almost no 2D shooting games
>like 1 beat 'em up (a bad one)
>no stealth games
>hardly any strategy games, most being inferior PC ports
