I think the Super Gameboy 2 does make the amazing Donkey Kong game and Metroid 2 best. I primarily played GBA games through the Gameboy Player on Gamecube since I had quit videogames at that time, but it is a laggy experience compared to Swiss+Gameboy Interface. Normally I'd say however you can enjoy the game you want to, but the experience may be different, but find what works best for you at the time.

Give the Super NT a try for SNES games. With a jailbreak, it could play more than just SNES as well.

The GBA consolizer systems seem to go for around $500USD which is only for the rich. These clone consoles are the only thing in our countries which are affordable for the everyman to enjoy GBA games. So long as they are enjoying it and not adversely affecting others, it shouldn't matter to you.

I got pretty much all of those back when people were just discarding the games. Most were under $5USD. It was kind of a fun hunt, since the Gamecube was my only way of playing the games in those days as I was not into portables.

I still have to get a GBA one day, but there are many great ways to enjoy its games.

I actually prefer Metroid: Zero Mission over the original Metroid.

I remember hearing Nintendo coated their games with a bittering agent to avoid the young from ingesting the games.

I think those sites require login, and I don't want to deal with that. I only relatively recently (a decade ago) got into portables, and still don't have a GBA yet, but its library of amazing games has kept me entertained.

They are very colorful and enjoyable platforming games. I was hoping for more Kirby and they ended out being interestingly unique. Definitely get them.

Yeah, I mostly got those from rummaging through the random bins for cheap. Be aware to look for the pressed numbers on the label, accurate logos for "advance" and "Nintendo" on the shell, and the correct font for "Nintendo" on the PCB.

Amazing series. Loved them since playing Super Dodgeball and River City Ransom on the NES. Reviewers of the day did not like the games as much as I did which was an indication that my tastes can differ from most.

It is very difficult because it gets no sunlight in my setup.

I looked at a Chinese website and found a Retroad clone console which played GBA by default, called 3TRI. They do have a GB/GBC adapter for that clone console which already played GBA, but I cannot find the GBA adapter. It is a shame the console is $100USD meaning it is not a budget option either.

When I ran out of quarters at the arcade I could always walk over to the Target and spend some time on these. Had fun playing them for hours, a nostalgic sight to see those.
