Still unlikely that the Disney animators, who were kids during the 60s, never once during productions were "huh, Simba... a lion, this doesn't sound familiar at all". And you bet they weren't fluent in swahili, btu they sure knew about Kimba from watching it on TV after school in the 60s.
I get it, you're angry about all the parroting claiming it's a ripoff, and you're right about that, people exaggerated the homages and claimed it was a total ripoff, which is not true. But claiming that it's all "just a coincidence" seems also dishonest.
