Closed minded? I said there are good looking 2D games on 5th gen, and mainly on Saturn.
The games you mentioned are alright, but all of them have equal counterparts (or better) on 4th gen systems, not counting arcade ports like In The Hunt.
Pic related is still how a lot of games looked like. Lazy digitalized sprites with washed colors.
