As much as I like The Adventures of Batman & Robin for the Genesis/ MD has a quirky gameplay style to it, that feels like a cross between a run and gun, with a vertical space ship shooter and some beat 'em up elements to it. You can still punch and kick enemies when they are in close range. But as a 'run and gun' the game really encourages you to use the charge meter to shoot down multiple enemies at once. Also, the game is reliant on the weapon upgrade system. The game discourages you from button mashing the fire button. As for a game based on the animated Batman & Robin series, I don;t think it uses the license as well as it could have. Konami's Adventure of Batman and Robin game does a better job capturing the look and music of the cartoon series. But I still like the Genesis game, and the soundtrack is bonkers, and very un-Batman like.

And that's not all, you have to fight her again in part two of stage 1. The Joker is almost like a jobber in his 'easy to predict' balloon compared to Harley.
