Am I the only one who prefers BG1 to BG2?
BG1 has that adventure feel where it's actually an open world, exploring wilderness, being weak as fuck at the begining and most magic weapons are actually rare etc
In BG2 it's basically the start of casualisation of CRPG: they try to amp up the story and background of NPCs but the world feels like it's really designed only for the main player. Like "here get this awesome magic sword but it could only ever work on a specific NPC"

I fucking hate these topics because no one provides fucking names to their examples. Same with the "describe a game in a retarded way" one. Fuck.
