Are there any 'adult' oriented Pokemon hacks?

I don't mean sexual. I've played dozens of Pokemon hacks that have new stories, new graphics, new characters, new maps, new monsters, etc. but they're ALL uniformly oriented towards 10 year olds, just the the main games.

The main pokemon games have a surprisingly solid core in terms of their RPG mechanics, their only problem is that they have ten inches of sugarcoating over that. There's a lot of depth that could be had, but it's all oriented towards little kids, and every single hack copies this for some reason.

Gen 1 and 2 back in elementary school gave me a kind of creepy/horror oriented vibe in some areas even though everything was G-rated. I'd really like something that brought back that feeling as an adult.
