The best fighting game of all time is SoulCalibur. It has a depth that rewards great care and practice, but anyone can enjoy it. It's a retro 3D fighter whose graphics still look absolutely gorgeous. Definitely better than anything on Playstation!

You can even play it with the goddamn fishing controller.

Soul Calibur
Should need no introduction. A rare example of a perfect launch title. This is the game that made people understand the Dreamcast as capable of not just "arcade perfect" home ports, but of actually improving upon the arcade experience. Shitty video clip here for a decidedly non-shitty game. One of the most beautiful in the library in fact.
