There are hundreds of games from the 80s and 90s that I wanted to play that I never did. Now I can play them all for free, so that's what I do.
I don't think of it as "retro gaming" - I remember when Crash 2 was just "a game" and not a retro game. That hasn't changed for me.

What's annoying is that when a normie peer asks if I "game", it's hard to answer because by game they mean PS4 online multiplayer. My friends (granted I'm young at 25) couldn't wrap their heads around why I was playing Ristar and not the latest generic FPS or sports game. Now I just say no and save myself the explanation.
