Hitman: Contracts is so underrated. Just the right amount of edgy and dark. The whole setting of 47 having been shot and reliving the memory of old missions in his pain-induced delirium was awesome.

"Put Your Head On My Shoulder" is ruined forever for me thanks to the slaughterhouse mission. It still sounds creepy to me after all these years.

On the topic of dark missions, there was also that one where some english rich old man had kidnapped a guy to let him loose in the woods and hunt him like an animal.

And the final mission, where you're surrounded by a whole unit of french GIGN and you're supposed to escape and kill the main investigator in the process...man, it was cool.

Modern Hitman games just don't feel the same. It's all self-referential jokes, stupid puns, and shitty Illuminati conspiracy stories that make Joe Rogan sound like a respected intellectual.

>old one has the empty gesture and body pose that one would expect from a walking corpse, new one has the face gesture and body pose that one would expect from a retarded drunk person
