Has anyone made experiences with mobile gamepads? They connect to your smartphone via bluetooth and allow you to practically turn it into a handheld console

Since there's no way past a smartphone these days (unless you want to buy something like the Nvidia Shield), I thought this would be a decent option for someone who wants to play emulated retro games on the go

Best rated on Amazon seems to be the "MOGA Pro Power" (pic related), which is also one of the more expensive ones though:
