Go with the real comparison between the two. Early Fire Emblem was pretty much all humans. Whereas Shining Force gives you centaurs, dwarves, elves, whatever the fuck Khris was supposed to be and teased you with a playable hamster in Jogurt and that's just chapter 1.

In SF2? Can't be done. Chester is similarly shitty but at least he's a body that can hit and tank until you get enough characters to switch him out for someone better. You can't even say that about Higins. And he's not even a unique class! He's your 3rd fucking paladin at this point! Fuck Higins.
