So...I was working on a TG16 game called Somer Assault last night, and I finally managed to complete it. I mentioned in the last thread that I receive 30 lives and wondered why there were so many. Well...there was a boss rush. That, and trying to get used to the final boss took away all of my lives. It took me quite a few tries to defeated all the phases of the finale with only a few lives, but I did it (you thankfully don't have to do the whole rush over again, just the last boss). Usually, I'd have a montage at this point, but honestly, I really don't care enough for this game. Such a great concept, but such awful execution.

So, anyway, onto the DOS game:
>La Aventura Espacial
A foreign title like this doesn't necessarily mean a foreign game...but it does here. A Spanish adventure game, I just wouldn't be able to play it because there's too much text and adventure games are usually already hard enough in English.

> Corncob Deluxe
Ok, this is playable, but it's a flight simulator. There's no real goal to it. There are missions, but no structure to them, and trying them out it's just no fun. I really had a hard time deciding to skip this, but what I rolled next convinced me otherwise:

> Your game is "Buck Rogers: Countdown to Doomsday"! Now go play it

Now THAT sounds like something that goes well in my gauntlet. Haven't had an RPG yet, and it's apparently not a bad one despite a license on it. Cool.
