The Next World (Mondo Futuro) is a FPS with interesting ideas, like the fact you're completely harmless, enemies can easily kill you and the only mean of destroying them is to use vehicles, sometimes even giant creatures; they serve you as weapons and also helps you to move faster or even fly. Your goal is, if i remember correctly, to grab orbs like objects in order to fix your time machine (?) and voyage through the levels; these are always populated by factions at war, and you can decide to be an ally for whoever you want and do side missions for them. The only thing i've found about this game is a discussion on an italian forum, luckily there's gameplay and download, but that came a lot later and people still don't know about it. I posted this game on a DOOM/Retro FPS thread and obviously no one replied to me because of its rarity. Years ago i didn't even find anything on the internet about it, figures. A few days ago though, i found something about it on an italian Resident Evil 2 forum, then they linked the only gameplay available (that is this one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sgdBJbXxTvw ) and the download for the game is on said video's comments. For its times it had very nice themes, like being an FPS with plenty of things that could harm you but with no way of having any weapon, some vehicles aside. You could also do missions for factions, even enemy ones. At least for me, it was astonishing in a certain degree. Also, if you watch the intro of the gameplay i've linked you'll see an old man NPC talking about the plot or whatever, well, that part scared the shit out of me when i was little. Perhaps because it was very eerie. The game is called "Mondo Futuro".

Yeah i forgot a lot of titles, but it's true that some of those you guys mentioned were unknown even to me. Chasm: The Rift is one of them. I have one even more obscure though, i think no one of you knows of this one. This is the only gameplay i've found about it, the download it's on the comments. I found this video only today because of its rarity, no one talks about it on the internet though it has a lot of potential for that period... Like not having weapons, vehicles instead.
