Listen to this man because he knows what's up. But here are some tips to help you survive.

1:Don't get discouraged because you lose. You are going to die a lot when you start any new shmup.
2:Get a feel for your hit box. This is really handy when it comes to dodging projectiles and is one of the most important factors.
3:Memorize levels so you can be prepared for what is coming next.

I was allowed to play whatever the hell I wanted. Feels good having parents who knew their kid was smart enough to differentiate fantasy from reality. Same applies to movies and television.
