I had my mind blown when I started the airport track and I could just drive away into some canyon.

Car variety is a really dubious with present knowledge, since we all know about the identical 20 Lancer and Skyline variants. And to be honest a lot of cars in GT4 look very shoddy, which the understated and realistic-looking lighting helps to cover up but in reality Forza (hell, a lot of racers) has like double the polycount on each vehicle.
