Thanks. It was actually inspired by a local artifical lake, which had the same sort of effect because of all the sand imported in. The coast was beach-like but a few feet in and it quickly became island soil.
Anyways, here's the park so far (big image, I stitched two together so you can get a better view). I'm really proud of the go karts ride in particular, I forgot I put in a tree restriction so it's gonna be hard to make rollercoasters.
