Detailed analysis of Treasure's retro repertoire:

McDonald's Treasureland Adventure: shitty bosses, boring gameplay, just a quick cash grab prototype engine for Dynamite Headdy
Gunstar Heroes: shitty gimmicks, poor level designs, bad art
Dynamite Headdy: shitty gimmicks, boring gameplay, bad art
Yu Yu Hakusho: imbalanced & broken gameplay, bad art
Light Crusader: Treasure's only decent game -- good art, good gameplay, good bosses, good level design, no lame gimmicks
Alien Soldier: not enough level design, released in an incomplete state, controls could be much better had Treasure used the 6 button controller scheme instead of the retarded ring menu, too many filler bosses that lack substance, bad art
Guardian Heroes: imbalanced & broken gameplay, shit level design that repeats the same boring enemies too much, bad art, way too fucking many unskippable cutscenes
Mischief Makers: shitty gimmicks, mediocre to poor level designs, bad art, absolutely dreadful audio-wise and graphics-wise
Silhouette Mirage: shitty level design, bad art, some really bad bosses, gimmicky gameplay mechanic of polarity switching
Radiant Silvergun: poor level design, gimmicky scoring system that feels like it belongs in a puzzle game, bad art, too many filler bosses that lack substance and some being a gimmick like a rip-off of the R-Type ship
Bangai-O: poor boss designs, bad art, decent level design, runs and looks and sounds like shit as per the norm with N64 games
Rakugaki Showtime: arena 3D fighter with extremely basic gameplay which means it gets very boring fast
Sin & Punishment: lacking in quality level designs, randomly turns into Contra at the end, bad art, worst looking Treasure N64 game with brown colours and jaggies everywhere, auto-aim mode for casuals, too many filler (mid)bosses interrupting the flow of gameplay and some being gimmicky like the final boss being a straight ripoff of Missile Command

I'll begin. Pic related loves to cram shitty gimmicks into their games, and their fans won't shut up about how "innovative" or quirky their games are.

Objectively though, they were only good when they had Sega helping them through the Megadrive times. After they betrayed Sega, their game quality took a considerable nosedive.
