I tried playing Pyl (The Dust) recently. It's obnoxiously hard (bullet sponge enemies, limited ammo, and you die in a few hits), but the atmosphere is cool... TOO BAD IT CRASHES A LOT. I've been playing it on an actual Win9x computer with good specs, and the first boss fight crashes due to some issue with being unable to find a file. I thought it was because I had the English patched installed but no, even if I play it in the original Polish language it crashes. It sucks too, because it seems promising from what little I can play.
