I never had a problem with the visual design of the dungeons. It makes sense in the context of the world for them to look the way they do. They're not romps through cartoon land like in the classic games because that's not what they were trying to do.

This shit is so stupid. These memes would work so much better if they actually pretended to be legit. Like "I dumped this copy of the game and this happened, what does it mean" or whatever. This fake VHS filter just doesn't make any sense. I get it's part of the epic VHS aesthetic that zoomers love even though they've probably never interacted with a VCR in their life. Also it's very easy for a fake VHS filter to not be convincing and it's like they don't even try.
