The Lynx was just as high profile of a failure and its library is just as tiny. But the Lynx had better games, and its ports weren't outclassed by anything because there was no better way of playing Atari's arcade games on the go. It filled a niche in the handheld market, so people still look on it fondly, while the Jaguar was redundant as a console.

Basically people shittalk the Jaguar not because it bombed, but because there isn't, and has never been a reason to own one.
