also i don't wanna talk out of my ass but, if i remember correctly some of the games or at least some areas had respawning enemies which made combat even more useless.
by the way, that pic was just random cause it reminded me of the rabbit from sh3.

also HOT TAKE: original silent hill games would work way better today if reworked as visual novels or until dawn style choice games. this is because as i've said, the gameplay itself is trash and you only wanna play it for the story, but also, the horror genre in general is stale, and anything they can ever come up with is not going to be original. i predict SH2R is just gonna be a boring RE2R but without the campiness and silliness.
