I keep seeing that last one, and I have no idea why. There were tons of great games on the PC before that one, like all the adventure games form Sierra (King's Quest, Space Quest, Police Quest, Quest for Glory, Leisure Suit Larry) and Lucas Arts (Maniac Mansion, Zak McKracken, Indiana Jones, Loom); RPGs like the first six Ultimas, Wasteland, the Bard's Tale games, Pool of Radiance, Curse of the Azure Bonds; Strategy/simulation games like The Oregon Trail, Elite, M.U.L.E., Populous, Pirates!, Sword of the Samurai, SimCity. There was even Prince of Persia, which I think is a far more interesting platformer. And those are just some games off the top of my head, and includes only the PC.
