Most people don't think of newer games as lost "holy grails" of their childhood and you know it. Besides, this is /vr/ - why are you bringing "modern publishers" into this?
>NES games got canned all the time. That's why there are so many pretty much fully functional cancelled NES prototypes in circulation.
