The other online experience I want to touch on really quickly is Call of Duty. This game catches a lot of flack for it's immature community (as in lots of kids), and arcade rather than simulation feel. All I want to say in that regard, is try the game on Hardcore mode. Hardcore mode fixes a lot of issues with gun balance and overpowered perks, it also attracts more serious community. Just try that out before you knock it.
