The only reason you think ZSNES was playing your games without issue is because you didn't ever play those same games on console. Outside of the games that didn't work, the ones with glitched graphics or audio, and the genuine system vulnerabilities it exposed, every single game you played had timing errors and had wrong audio. Every single one. You just didn't notice with no frame of reference, and that's on you alone and nobody else's fault.

No need for such butthurt. ZSNES has very low input lag.

Do avoid ignoring that relative to this topic - which genesis emulators have low input lag like that? Or hell, which ones have high input lag?
