Unless they recently put something else out, this is the only console port of Raiden 2. Only on Playstation. This isn't one of those autistic bullet hell games, its an oldschool shooter anyone can enjoy.

Raiden Project.

These games are fun even for shooter novices and this is the best port, period. 1 and 2 on the same disc, with remix OR original music. Plus a fancy oldstyle longbox.

I picked this version up for 20 bucks. First time I've actually played the arcade versions; only played Trad back in the day. 1 and 2 on one disc, with options for 5 levels of difficulty, original/remix music, and you can change the continues.

Raiden is definitely "Generic Shooter: the game", but its far from boring. Especially 2, with the purple plasma whip thing that is crazy fun.

Raiden Project for PS1, complete with the longbox and all. Dear Jesus, I am being raped. This game is so hard. I just can't get used to having to dodge both vertically and horizontally during boss battles, as the enemies constantly spawn on the sides.

I definitely remember beating this on SNES, but I'm sure it was on easy with max continues. I'm not even doing that well here. Maybe if I just play it over and over I'll get the hand of it.

Dunno how hidden it was for anyone else but I only ever saw it once.

I don't feel like getting my camera out, but I found this downtown in good condition for 40 bucks.
