Im disinterested in the Sonic 3 sprite debate. It is what it is. Ill say with certainty Sonic 2 has the better title screen. Its a contender for GOAT.

In Sonic 2's title screen, they never replaced the placeholder neon green with a proper color.

I remember seeing this in the manual and was wondering why it didn't match the actual title screen.

Why did we end up getting this instead? I like the thumbs up better.

I used to think that if you beat the game with all 7 chaos emeralds you'll get this title screen instead.
